MHJMC Designated as a Mediation Institution Handling CEPA Investment Disputes with Its 21 Mediators Listed as Hong Kong Designated Mediators

On 17 December 2018, the Trade and Industry Department of HKSAR Government has announced on its website that the mechanism for settling investment disputes arising from Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) is mediation. It has introduced the mediation mechanism established by the Mainland and Hong Kong under the Investment Agreement. Meanwhile, the lists of designated institutions and mediators mutually agreed by the two sides have also been released:

MHJMC is honoured to be designated as one of the mediation institutions that are mutually agreed by the governments of two sides. Twenty-one mediators have been nominated by MHJMC and designated by the Department of Justice of HKSAR as the mediators of the Hong Kong side. The list is as follows:
